Multiple AI Primes

Hi, thinking about a pair of AI primes for a new tank, can't wrap my head around this though. Since I don't have them, can somebody explain how to sync a pair so the settings are common between them?

I know this may be simple but since I don't have them I want to make sure they will work this way. It would be a total fail if my wife said "You have to change them separately"?

Thx

I have a pair over my 30g 24x24x12, I myself can't find a way to sync them to work together. What I do is write down the number of intensity on each color spectrum, and time. Then switch over to the other unit, and apply the same schedule. I'm really impressed with these AI Primes, just make sure you get the new version tank mount brackets.

Oh man I'm glad I asked then. Hmm. So you mean they operate with separate databases/schedulers/settings and you need to manually "sync" the params? I wasn't aware of the different version tank brackets either. How can you tell which are the bad ones? Thx.

I think there's away to link them together, I not 100% sure. They do have different Wi-Fi connection. Setup, settings, and to schedule is pretty simple. As far as the tank mounts ask or call the store you're getting them from if it's the latest version, the old one will not hold the fixture straight. They also sale hanging kits, and goosenecks.

The interface on the primes and the new Hydra HDs is a little goofy (I liked the older director a little better.) What you want to do is connect to one device with it's build-in wifi ID. Then re-pair it to your home wifi and it becomes a parent device. Then, the other device should show up as available to connect to just below that. Once you connect to it, it will become a child device and then the settings you configure will apply to both. I've attached a pic of my 2 Hydra HDs just for illustration. Hope that helps.
