Make Good Water?

Hi, Everyone.

I have a small 10 gallon tank in my office I'll be using for a observation tank. What is the best way to make water? I don't have the luxury of an RO/DI unit and I don't feel like carrying water from my house to the office.

Let me know!

What type of observation? Fish only? Quarantine tank? Any corals at any point?

Fish only tank for now. I'm building a new tank at home. Each fish I get will go in here first for 30 days to be observed for general health. I going to put a shallow sand bed and I have an empty glass bottle in there for a hiding place. Reason why I'm calling it an observation tank and not a quarantine tank is because I need it to look somewhat decorative so my boss does not get upset.

Let me know if that makes sense.

was going to say the same thing. Distilled water will be clean enough for fish. Could even use the water from zephryhills in the five gallon jugs. Would mix the water with salt of choice and let it brew over night before adding.

It's in progress! Doing two tanks at once. Here's a thread I have about the build of the area for the tank. Posted pics of the almost finished life support closet. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...6&postcount=30
