Quick question about soap and lime water.
Hey guys,
This will be the third time I'm mixing kalk. First time it went very smoothly, I mixed 1tsp per gallon, stirred, let sit for a few hours then added it to the tank. When I added it to my ato reservoir, it had a nice firm on top. The two most recent times I've mixed it, there has been no film even after letting it sit for 5+hours. Do I add it anyway???? And second... Inside the ato reservoir I have a glass cup to place the pump inside so it doesn't suck up the residual kalk at the bottom. This cup was placed in the dishwasher on accident and went through a half cycle... Soap was on the cup before I pulled it out. I rinsed it heavily in hot water, call I use this cup still? or has it been contaminated?

I would rinse it out with a little warm water and vinegar and you should be fine
