Is this Brown Jelly Disease

Hello,

I've been seeing some brown patches develop on my leather coral:

Also, there seems to be some brown jelly growing around the skeletal frame of my torch.

Is this indeed brown jelly disease?

I'm thinking about fragging off the good part of the leather, and removing the parts covered with brown jelly. For the torch, thinking about an iodine dip. Do these approaches sound good?

Thanks for any help !
