Kessil Question

Looking to purchase a Kessil for a 30 shallow rimless setup (24x24x12). I was looking to buy a 160we for that size tank. For those of you that run these lights, would that be enough light to cover this tank or should I go with the 360we?

Also,
I have an opportunity to purchase a used 360we w/gooseneck for $275. The light itself is 2 years old but ive seen it in person and still looks great. Does that seem like a decent price for the light with the age and would I have to be worried about anything with it being that old?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I use 2 x A360we's to light my frag tank, 4x2x12" (60g). I have them set to maybe 50% and the frags seem to love it.

The A360we retails for $399 new, so I suppose that might be a fair price. I prefer to buy new whenever possible just to avoid purchasing someone's problems.

I would suggest a 360WE over the 24x24" tank or two of the 160's which will help reduce shadowing on the ends. The 360's have a wider spread which is why I would recommend the 360's unless you get a pair of 160's which would have their advantages. A 360 for $275 with the goose neck is a pretty good price. The 360WE's are very reliable lights so I don't think there is much risk in terms of failure. That said, if you can afford new, then you get a great warranty even though you will likely never need it.
