Caught my Foxface Chilling in my Toadstool Leather!
Took this picture last night when I saw my foxface nice all snuggled up in my toadstool leather. Bad quality phone pic, but I got him! Stayed there for a good bit all camouflaged after my MH turned off.
Is this normal, will they "host" corals like this? The leather didn't seem to mind at all. Anyway, just thought I'd share! |

Pretty cool pic. The coral is hosting the fish, not the other way around.

That is too cute...I didn't know they did that. My starry blenny used to sit in my leathers, but that's it.

I have a one spot foxface that loves to lie flat in a large derasa. The clam doesn't seem to mind. I thought the foxface was dead or dying until disturbed by my movements it righted itself and swam away

The ones I had always camo'd at night or when frightened. Plus they would lay against anything they could find. Looks normal, but kinda like a hawkfish.

So it wasn't just a fluke, he's been taking quite a liking to the toadstool, I saw him nestled in the same spot yesterday after my halide went out.
