Assistance with Tunze Controller 5017

Hey everyone so I bought a Tunze ATO controller 5017 second hand for $25. Great deal IMO. The only thing Is it seems to be missing the power adapter. My question is where can I find a replacement or are they just he typical 12v ac/dc power adapter I could find at an electronic store? Any advice would be great.

Seems that any 11-12V @1A DC output supply should be fine..

I went to the source and attempted to pick up a 12v @1a and the guy said he wouldn't do that and the device says 11v. Will going 12v damage the controller in anyway?
