I have one on a 21 gallon Red Sea Nano Reefer. I'm having difficulty with selecting settings. It works fine with the WIFI. I can control it from the APP just not sure what to set it to.
Ran it for 3 weeks with the auto setup mode: 8 AM sun rise, 5 PM sunset with a 4 hour ramp up and down. Also left the blue on around 10% at night. Had a breakout of green hair algae. Turned the light off for 3 weeks and ran GFO and removed the GHA. Now turned it back on for the last 2 weeks and the GHA is back. Sent a support request into them for setting suggestions this past Monday. Haven't heard back from them. I had 60 gallon cube with the Kessil 360; didn't have these problems. Kessil's support is much better than AI so may sell the AI and go to a Kessil. |

I called AI direct and they said they could not give a setting recommendation due to the variances in each aquarium. I understand but a general guide would of been helpful. So I researched common AI Hydra and Radion ratios that have been successful. For my IM 10g mixed reef I'm using the following:
6hrs-80% uv,v,db, b and g 20%, dr 23%, cw 21% 2hr ramp up/down-db 20%, b 40% Quote:

I've been really happy with mine over an IM 40 tank that mostly has softies and gonipora. The green light flashing is due to an inactive network connection- both of my HDs do this- I think you can have the light network route the regular one, but never bothered. I just temporarily connect to the light when I want to make changes then disconnect. Setting changes keep. I have always just played with colors to get what I like- it's pretty easy- biggest thing is to ramp up intensity slowly. Use the acclimation feature.
