Bubble magus curve 5 alternatives
Hi all,
Got the above skimmer for my new evolution aqua 450s. Unfortunately it's footprint is too big. Not unboxed so hopefully I can return. I'm really sad as read some great things about it! Any good alternatives? Sump is 14.5 cm wide, water depth around 17 cm. 101 litre in total. Thanks |

Yikes that is about as small of a footprint as you're fine. The SCA skimmers are a little smaller though. though the pump is a little weaker

100 litres is about 20g. That Curve 5 would have been WAY too big for it anyway. I'm running a Curve 5 on my 40b with a 30g sump and it's just a touch too big.
On a system that size and with that little room, look at the Tunze 9004. They just released a DC version. Or the Bubble Magus NAC 3.5 if you have the length in the skimmer section. Is this an AIO tank? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks all. Tank/sump/cabinet AIO. They do lights but I've got a nanobox tide I'm using...

You should be able to fit the Bubble Magus NAC3.5 in the 1st chamber where the filter sock is.
