Need a single T5 fixture

Hi All. I am new to T5's and am just looking for a single bulb setup to run with my LED's. Does anyone know of the best place to get one or do they even make them?

Thanks.

I believe you will need to put together a retrofit for that. The trick will be finding a program start ballast that will run one bulb of your length. If you post the length you may get suggestions.

I have a Miro two bulb retrofit fixture that will run just one light. They are very ugly so you will need a canopy.

Get a Coralife Dual T5 fixture. It's very small in profile and does the job. I got one and nicely supplements my LED in the front portion where the corals are and it's cheap too.

This will be going over a 40 gallon breeder. Looking for a "retrofit" style like you mentioned I think. Not sure what a program ballast is.

I checked out the Coralife Dual T5 fixture. I would like to find just the bulb/reflector style that I could mount to a canopy.

Thanks for the replys!

That looks like what would work!

Anyone else running something like this? Maybe just with a single bulb?

Here is what I use in my 75 gallon with Reef radiance dm-165p+

https://www.amazon.com/ft-F54T5-HO-F...gle+t5+fixture.

I have two of them: one mounted in the back and one in the front. The LEDs are in between. Works great so far. All mounted in a canopy.

I just had to take out a bulb in my Miro fixture and the other bulb went out. This is with the a dimmable Miro retrofix fixture. I swear you could run one bulb but that might have been with my old non-dimmable fixture. Be sure to check with Miro before purchasing.

I have a LIT retro t5 (2bulb) mixed with my LEDs. The LIT kits had really good reviews.
