Upgrading ecotech MP40es to MP40qd
Hi,
I have an MP40es driver and ES dry-side and the newer QD wet side. If I upgrade the driver or dry-side to QD, will I need a new power supply too? I see their site has an older power supply and a newer one. The new power supply is $50 buck which looks to be a big ripe-off. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't think you need a new power supply. But an upgraded MP40wes with QD wet side and driver is not the same as an MP40wqd. They redesigned the dry side when they released the QD so the upgraded 40wes is not as powerful as a 40wqd.
