Hello Amigos,

I am in the process of setting up a 55g tank with 20g sump. Any suggestions about what RO/di system I should get? I live in a city so I will be using tap water.

Thanks in advacne

I have always had good luck with Bulk Reef Supply RODI systems, they come in a variety of configurations to suit your needs and the customer service is second to none.

I just bought a BRS 150/day system, with the TDS monitor and flush. I priced systems from a variety of sources. The BRS was nice because it came with various connection attachments.

The absolute least expensive way to go is the refurb models...at 75/day I think they were going for 115 or so...different vendor. Had I not needed a 150/day I would have went that route.

Would you happen to have a link to the refurbished models?
Thanks for all the input everybody!

I don't, but search on this site "refurbished" or "refurb"...it's a recent thread somewhere with a link.

I have a BRS 4 stage with the TDS and flush valve. I ended up buying the water saver kit for it and Im glad I did. My waste water was cut drastically. Its a great unit!

The spectrapure refurbs are on sale now for a decent price: http://spectrapure.com/Refurbished-90-GPD-RODI-System I have one and its great. Really good customer service too. They do charge shipping, which I don't think brs does. I like that they are a water filter company that does aquarium stuff, and not the other way round. But lots of happy brs customers around so I'm sure those are fine. Don't forget to pick up a tds meter while youre shopping.
