Dosing Phyto

Anyone here dose phyto? My tank is about 6 weeks old that I cycled with ZeoVit. I'm trying to build up a solid population of pods as I have some inverts in there that don't come out to eat always, specifically at Red Fromia Star, Pom Pom Crab, and Nassarius Snail.

Tank water looks crystal clear and noticing a few pods in the sump still. Skimmate is green probably because it's talking out 1/2 of the Phyto that I put in. I have 90 gallons of water volume and dose 2-3 drops daily.

Let me know what you guys think!

Cheers,
Joey

From the research I have done in photo you really only need to does about 5ml once a week.

If you're trying to raise pods why not setup a pod station? It's fairly simple to do. Once you get a culture going you can split it and add to your tank / fuge and continue to cultivate new ones.

Unless you have a massive amount of filter feeders in the tank there's really no need to dose Phytoplankton IME. Things will balance themselves out.
