Echotech Marine Radion G4!
Echotech is finally releasing their new update to the Radion's. It'll be the G4 that everyone has been waiting for. Looks like the release date will be sometime in September. I'm definitely going to get a pair of these.

Matsu49, what size is your tank that you are setting up 2 of these? Was thinking of the G4's as well and wondering if I need 1 or 2 for a 120 gal (60X18X26)

Yeah. I would not expect them for more than a 24×24 area.

For anyone considering how many to get, I have replaced two G3 XR30 Pros and a G3 XR15 Pro in the middle with two G4 XR30 Pros and I'm getting more consistent and slightly higher PAR through the tank, this being four feet long.

They're not officially released but some people already have them.
I'm mostly worried about the light spill as my tank is in my living room. It seems like the new lenses have a side light spill that can be seen in the Marine Depot video. |
