Enough light??

Hey all. I have the option of getting two 4 foot 6 bulb T5 fixtures for my 8 foot long tank. I have about 6 sps frags, but have an order ready for many more saved for the near future. Would the 12 ATI bulbs be too much light or would it be ok? I could go with an 8 bulb option for each fixture, but didn't want to do so if it wasn't necessary. The tank is 24 inches wide and 30 inches deep. Lights I have now are cheap Chinese black boxes. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

The only way to really know is try one and test the PAR at the sand. If it's too low, go for the fixture with more bulbs.

On a side note, just wanted to say that my wife and I are going snorkeling in Islamadora for our 5 year anniversary in April. Saw that Indian key and Alligator lighthouse are good spots. Any others? Thanks!
