marineland 90 gallon issue

Can someone please tell me what I am looking at here? It is really starting to scare me. The tank is a standard 90. This is the left wall. They feel like scratches/chip out and run from the front to back in a semi-straight line. I can only feel it on the inside and see them from the right angle. Tank has been sitting on a custom stand and canopy for a year now. It is 100% level and the canopy weighs about 70lbs..any ideas?

note: I do not use anything abrasive to clean the glass and have no other scratches anywhere on the tank

I will get another pic. Check out right below the return nozzle, you'll see white looking dots. I may need to get the macro lens to get a good pic. They extend from the front glass to the back of the glass. I can barely catch them with my fingernail.

Agree with mcgyvr, need better pics to determine what's going on here.

They are pretty much like tiny scratches and appear/disappear like a scratch would normally. I've sent pics to my lfs. They have no idea. I've tried to scrape the area with a razor blade, nothing. I've owned 10+ aquariums and never seen this before, nor have I ever had a tank failure, so I guess I'm one of a few lucky ones?

scratches , for sure . my marineland 90 has the same thing but not as bad. about 3 in. long top to bottom right in front. inside . not to noticeable but kinda makes you mad after you get everything set up and don't notice for awhile.

Glad I'm not the only one. Not sure why mine seem to be getting worse over time. I'm using the Tunze care magnet and never had a problem before.

You may have picked up a piece of sand/crushed coral with the magnet and scratched the glass when cleaning it.

It's almost impossible to scratch the glass with this magnet because the only contact points are the two blades. I'm not saying it's impossible, just improbable.
