Review my stocking plan please!
Getting ready to start stocking my 72g DT (info see thread in sig). All fish will be QT'ed via a Formalin Dip (unless they look ultra stressed), followed by TTM then 6 weeks in an observation tank.
The tank currently has about 75# of TBS rock, there are countless emerald and porcelain crabs up to a dime, one 2-2.5" pistol shrimp, and a very small mantis shrimp. Since the brief cycle I have added a small CUC consisting of 5 turbo, 5 margarita and 2 fighting conchs, I have also added a peppermint shrimp and a cleaner shrimp. Tank has a lot of skimmer and substrate is that arag alive special grade. I have not decided on corals yet, prob do a mix of some stuff, not too overcrowded. I am curious about both the order of stocking and the overall load on the tank. Fish: QT this pair together 1. Orange-Back Fairy Wrasse or Lineatus Fairy Wrasse or other fairy Wrasse. 2. Yellow Prawn Goby 3. Helfrichi Firefish 4. A pair of clowns possibly true perc if I can locate and an anemone (not QT the anemone). 5. Flameback Angel 6. Kole Tang or White Tail Bristletooth Tang I would like a second dwarf angel, but I realize a pair of dwarf angels might not be the smartest idea. Your comments and time are appreciated.

Your stocking list looks fine, it's not too many fish. I've seen tanks of similar size stocked much more heavily (though there was adequate filtration for the heavier stocking).
I agree having more than 1 angelfish wouldn't be a wise decision since most websites typically recommend a 70G tank for 1 fish. This is especially more prudent given you will have a tang as well. |

Got it on 2 of the dwarf angels.
What are thoughts on a wrasse pair- not 'paired', but two different 'peaceful' fairy types. I am on the fence on the tang as well. Wife likes them...but in my past life they were a PITA.

Koles can be a little aggressive but I dont think it will be a problem... You can always go with a scopas but its the same deal.

Saw a pretty decent gorilla crab last night. During my water change today pulled out the rock with his hidey hole. Saw a claw holding the shrimp go deeper in the hole. Wife held rock while I took the sawzall to it. Viola. Gone. Got a couple nice flat plugs to grow something on.
