How old is the tank? Looks like diatoms which is very common in new tanks. They usually goes ahead by themselves.

As stated.. All sorts of fun stuff comes and goes with a new tank..
Diatoms (typically a brown.."dust") that you can easily blow off.. Algae.. both hair and film on the glass,etc.. That just looks like some algae..Which is totally normal on a new tank.. Keep nitrates/phosphates as low as possible and it will go away on its own.. Watch your lighting schedule too.. Too much/too long will fuel algae too as its just like a plant and plants need light and nutrients (nitrates,etc..) to grow..

I know this has nothing to do with the question posted but I am starting a 37 gallon reef tank and so far it has just the rock, sand, water, Protein Skimmer, heater. I have read so many different things that there is so much conflicting things out there you just do not know who to trust. I want to know if Live Aquaria is a good source and Bulk Reef Supply? Thank you

Yes.. Live Aquaria (Drs Foster and Smith) and Bulk Reef Supply are both very good distributors and provide a wealth of valid information on their sites. Live Aquaria is my first stop for any generic care information, identification, etc.. for any fish/coral,etc.. Bulk Reef Supply also has created tons of video content which in general is all very good.. Both sell quality products and in general you won't go wrong purchasing from either of them..
