Azure Damselfish attacked by Chromis and Royal Gramma
I was trying to put my Azure Damselfish from my quarantine tank to my display tank but my Chromis and the Royal Gramma are trying to kill her so I had to take her of the main tank and back to my quarantine tank.
Is there a way I can do to put again the azure damsel or what I can I do to try to put this fish into my main tank |

I would use an acclimation box for starters. The day you go to release, rearrange all of your rockwork. This has always worked for me.

Moving rocks would be an issue because I have a reef tank so I would like to not move the rocks at all so back to the acclimation box, for how long should the fish stay in the box and do you put the box alone or you put something in the box as well?

For me damsels are always pretty meek when you add them and hide away until they build up confidence and become more dominant (I've only kept the more peaceful species), so time in the acclimation box would be good for it. I don't think that damsels and chromis are always a bad mix (mixing planktavores can be a prole whatever the species). You have one of the more laid back damsels but you may have better luck keeping it in a pair or small group as damsels become more of a problem when they can't socially interact, and become bored.

So you mean 2 azure damsels will be a better way to climate on my tank instead of just one?

Take the offenders to the qt, put the damsel in the dt (I assume more than 50 gallons dt) and give it a few days before putting the other two back in.

My tank is a 20 gallon one I tried but they (the gramma and the chromie) attacked my damsel so putting directly to my tank was not a good option

I've had some luck with distracting resident fish by putting a full-length mirror on the end of the tank when I introduce a new neighbor. They get so riled up attacking their reflections that they don't pay much attention to the new guy - and in a day or three, the new guy's a "resident" too.
Acclimation box, rearranging rockwork also help (though the rockwork, not in every case). ~Bruce

But I think you are saying that lots of people knows about damsels being assassins but how to keep more than one of those? |

You are right, Chromies, Clowns and Damsels are related but seems like Chromies are very assassins like, most stories I've heard with Chromies at the end only one survives.

Yeah those. Lovely little fish in the flesh, pictures don't do them justice but they do best in a really quiet tank.

You are right they look at least cooler than the normal Chromis viridis, I haven't seen them sold in my country but I'm gonna ask my LFS

I finally got my Damsel living in my main tank.
What I did was to add a surgeon Yellow Tang and the damsel at the same time and now when the bad guys try to attack the Damsel the Yellow Tang pushes them away of her. |
