mushrooms with sps

Since mushrooms are a type of anemone would I be safe in saying that they do not use chem warfare like the traditional softies? and by that logic would be safe in a sps dominate tank other than their propensity to detach and spread ?

Hrrrrrrrrm. Ok, so I have an island on the right side of my tank and I wanted some movement and color. the left side is all for sps. I would love a big nem but I know he'll just detach and go stinging my sps or end up in the powerhead. So what are some sexy but low priced shrooms to add?

Pretty much all of the corals out there appreciate the same kind of "levels," it's just a matter of keeping them segregated. Not from one side of the tank to another, but you might have to do some work to make them coexist in close quarters.

I have a bunch of them in my tank. if they touch the sps for long periods the mushroom wins.
