Kessil 150 ocean blue, sky blue, tuna blue???
hey guys,
Looking to put a Kessil above a 14 gallon tank for my school. Always thought the ocean blue was the 14k model that gave you a little white and blue and a good mix, but it's hard to find one for sale. Did the tuna or sky replace? I don't want all blue 20k spectrum but don't want it to be white 10k. Anyone have suggestions? This will be the only light I have and its for a bunch of middle schoolers. Any advice would be great. Thanks, |

yeah tuna blue is the new one. and it's adjustable (thus the "tuna" part.) you can take it from mostly-white to deep-blue via a knob. i have a feeling it'll be exactly what you want since you can dial in how "blue" it is....tuna sun is the other one and that's meant for freshwater/planted tanks.
i imagine it's the a160we tuna blue you'd be looking at. on a 14 gal you might be able to consider the new A80 model, too. they are quite affordable, but a bit less powerful. |
