Cyproz 120 Gallon Journal

Hey there, been here for about a year now. Was using a 40 gallon breeder with a 20 gallon sump setup up until now.

I waited for ever to find a tank that was used so i could save some money instead of buying a new tank.
After using the 40 gallon breeder, i realized i love the tanks that have deep dimensions from front to back. So i searched and searched for months. Kept finding good priced tanks that were crap when i went and looked at them. Either they had too many holes patched or things were broken or needed resealing.
But alas the day came when i was perusing craigslist and found a 48x24x24 6 month old marineland 120 gallon. It was only an hour and a half away.

For 200$ i got the tank and plumbling which is a bean animal setup. I also am going back later to get a canopy, stand and 40 gallon breeder sump!

So the journal began.

Just me and a 120 gallon packed into the back of my forester.
fun ride back home thinking of all the possibilities.

so i got it back and needed to clean it. There was a piece of starboard in the bottom that was very dirty. But it wouldnt come out without removing the overflow. So i removed it that way i can clean the starboard.

cleaned up the edges before removing overflow

aand the weekend ended so i will continue cleaning.

I plan to buy a new overflow once i find a place that makes or sells them.
Im also not sure what starboard is for yet so idk if i will use it.

So far this is exciting and cant wait to get it running.
