Hartlequin shrimp settlement
We finally did it. After years of trying we succeeded in rearing a harlequin shrimp
This little guy is 1 day old and about 2mm long |

Very cool! Which species of harlequin shrimp? How many? Larval food used?

Utterly amazing. I hope this can be done for other invertebrates too

I love these. This my favorite shrimp. I had a pair for around 3 years. The LFS had received a pair very small and when they died they where measuring at 2 inches. Fascinating little guys. I plan on putting a pair in my 34 gallon after it has properly cycled.

I plan feeding them chocolate chip stars. The pair I had several years ago lived for a long time and my LFS will let me by several at a time and take one at a time as I need them.

on average each larvae eats about 256 parvo a day
less at first more later unless you have a whole lot of parvo I wouldn't try to raise a whole batch |
