Candy cane dying?

Hi, my candy cane hasn't "inflated" for a while now and I noticed the "leg" is breaking apart. Anyone can tell me what's happening and is there anything I can do to save it? Thanks!

It appears to be just fine, it looks like it is heathy. The broken stem is a bit unusual but ok, the rock stem is not alive so this should not affect the coral in any way
