Hydra 26 reviews, opinions

I have a 90 gallon that I am looking to replace the lighting for, I currently have cheap Chinese black boxes and I'm sick of them. They are huge, loud, and I can't seem to mount them correctly so they oook like crap. They are also growing algae like freaking crazy, and the whites are on as low as they can be. So I'm looking for different lighting system, and I am looking for opinions on ai hydras 26, I would get 2 of them. Would that be sufficient for a 90 gallon, currently only have lps and softies, but I would like it to have the capability to do sps in the future. Also, what's the lifespan on them? Thanks!

What is the spacing if you have 2 units? AI says 24" but don't trust that just curious on true light spread

Ran 3 H26's on this little 57 gal. Did a great job. G4 Radions seem to be a better light though, dont run them, but coverage is better over the 26's.

I have 2 26's and 2 52's non HD over my 125. I Couldn't be happier with them. I'm sure there are better LED lights like the Radions but for the money I'm happy with my AI's.
You might need more than 2 on a 90 gal though depending on dimensions.

I have 4 26HD's over my 90, and love it. I love having enough power than i dont have to run them very high. Its also good when i upgrade to a bigger tank that i already have the lighting for it, which is usually the most expensive part of the whole operation lol But highly recommend them! AI builds nice stuff, and the controlibility via the app is nice as well!

Here was my 120 with hydra 26's. I used 5 of them, but really didn't need that many. I won an extra light from an acro grow out contest. Just a simple program, blue channels 80%, white ones 40%. 1hr ramp up and down, 6hr full power. Easy. Only thing I did was to check PAR levels - 200 on the bottom, 300 mid rock, 400-500 top rock. The number of lights made it so there were no hotspots and the par numbers were even across the tank (within 50).

Is app thru phone different from iPad? I am seeing a lot of connectivity issues and wondering which one works the best
