Starry Blenny
Would I be able to put a starry blenny in my fairly new tank? 6 weeks old - all fish are doing fine.
I'm wanting a bottom dweller to complete my tank and they look pretty cute. I have: 2 clowns 1 firefish 1 green clown goby 1 midas blenny I have a midas blenny but he hangs out at the top. I want to make sure it'd have enough algae to eat. |

You should be ok. IME, they don't eat algae as much as the lawnmowers do (They tend to eat more of a variety.) I've had mine for over 3 years and up until the past couple months, he never really touched any algae in the tank (Except maybe some film on the back glass.) Seaweed clips are a good supplement for them and mine eats mysis, pellets, (Hairs on my arm when I put it in the tank), just about anything. (I also have a midas and they get along fine.)
Out of all my fish, the starry is my favorite. They really have one of the neatest personalities and their eyebrows are awesome.

A starry blenny is a great fish.. they do have a neat personality and will readily eat pellet food,etc...
