hey RC!
I was wondering which is a better type of saltwater tank: Acrylic or Glass? I have a 60G glass tank. should I upgrade? Elijah |

They both have advantages and disadvantages. One isn't an upgrade over the other. Why would you want to change now? You already have a tank and you're just getting started.

Upgrading is always something we want to do. Bigger tank more things in it. I have glass and acyrlic tanks. They both have different features. For me the biggest is the weight difference.

Acyrlic is much lighter and scratches much easier than glass. To me acrylic has a much clearer view than glass. I just feel more safer with glass when it comes to bigger tanks.
