Feather Dusters - eaten by shrimp?

would shrimp (peppermint) eat these? I got a new one and it was actually 2 and those damn shrimp seemed to be after it, moving it about the tank. I don't see either of the heads so I think it's gone. They were immediately after it and it looked healthy. I wish I hadn't gotten those bad boys. Not too fond of them.

Yep, it can happen. IME, also they have started nipping at coral once the aiptasia was gone.

I made the mistake of getting peppermint shrimp. Had them destroy some very expensive corals. No more for me.

Yes if not fed enough, those buggars will eat just about anything...

Terrible, do you have aiptasia? Or the PS eats corals and feather dusters after killing all aiptasia?

I'm looking for some PS to treats aiptasia

No aiptasia. I got the stupid things because I just like shrimp. Dammit!

I'm going to have to feed more I guess. I got krill and the shrimp seem to like small pieces of that.

Hmmm, what corals are the peppermints eating? I have had mine for about 1-2 months. I bought 4 of them, they plowed through my aiptasia, but have not touched anything else in my tank, including the feather duster.

Wonder if it's just a "matter of time". I'll have to keep an eye on them. I see them from time to time on top of my Duncan coral, but they are picking around the base, not so much eating the coral itself. Unless they are and I don't realize it yet.

They were on a mushroom in my tank. I feed them krill now.
