Aiptasia... Best way!?
So i found aiptasia on a big frag plug i got 2 months ago. I need to get rid of it. I just dont know which way to use... from my research injecting it with lemon juice is the most effective, but will the lemon juice affect the PH aswell ??
Thanks. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk |

Aiptasia-x, or a Filefish.

Smother it with a pickling lime/kalk paste.

If you can remove the frag plug you could always burn it off with a cigarette lighter. This only takes a few seconds to do.

I put 4 peppermint shrimp in my new 120g when I saw some Aiptasia appear. The next morning - it was 100% gone. Hasn't reappeared since.

I've used kalk powder for all my aptasia needs. Works like a charm, no cleanup, and it's thick enough to only go where I want it to be.

Peppermint shrimp are the best if they haven't gotten large. And they have a low bio load on the tank

Plus they have a tendency to go nipping at corals after the aiptasia is gone.
