Mainland glass canopy/lid

I'm having some difficulty locating the glass lids for a mainland 180. I need 3 24x24 inch lids but it appears the lid listed as 24" is actually like 24"x11 inches. It's hard to tell really, because on other product listings the LxW is made clear, not so much on the 24" glass tops. Which only have one of the dimensions listed.

I really don't want to get the wrong size, so if anyone out there has any idea of how to interpret some of the listings for these products I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Can we assume you mean "marineland" and not "mainland"?
If so the easiest is to simply call them and ask..

Sadly all they can do is give me an item # and tell me to search online. Which I've already done and it seems everyone is out or just doesn't carry the size for a 180.

The Marineland/perfecto part # for the 180/220xh glass lid kit is 35721. Thatpetplace website usually carries most of the lids. Your LFS can usually order them as well. Hope that helps.

May I ask why you are looking for a glass lid. It's really not recommended to cover your tank. If you are worried about fish jumping, you can DIY a screen top.

I want to reduce the evaporation rate on my tank. The humidity is causing issues in my home.

Thanks. Thatpetplace appears to have what I need. I'm going to try and order from them. Hopefully all will go well.

Cool, they're a pretty good online retailer, IME. They seem to be one of the few places that readily carry a lot of the Marineland lids.
