TTM question for expret

Good evening.
I have a practical TTM question please.
Say I have fish A that has started the 1st 72h tank on Monday. Now on Thursday when I move fish A to a new tank, can I add Fish B starting its first 72h tank to fish A. This way fish A and B would stay and move together for 3 tanks. Fish B would complete its 4th tank alone.
Is this reasonable.

I am assuming you want to use the tank from fish "A" for fish "B". One of the rules for TTM is for the used tank to be drained and dry for at least 24hours to ensure any ich is killed in the used tank. My personal opinion is that fish are susceptible to that breach in the protocol. Just my 2 cents good luck.

forgot to ask Can you not do them both together?

TTM is best carried out one fish per tank unless mated pair or schooling fish that will be kept together in the DT.
