I can get my alarms sending emails and everything but is there a way to make it say something specific like :Change filter sock"?

Though the email will tell you what triggered the alert, the display is not so forthcoming sadly.

Can't you name the alarms? Just name it "Change Socks".

Unfortunately not. With Apex, you only get one email alarm outlet. As ca1ore mentioned, the first line of the email will tell you the programming statement that caused the alarm. That could be of use depending on what you're trying to do.

I'm not sure of the intent of your "Change Sock" reminder... if it's just a reminder every XX days, or if it's every Sunday, or if it's when flow decreases below a certain level somewhere. Depending on the scenario, you could have some type of virtual outlet set up to turn under certain conditions and that outlet could be named "ChangeSock". When that outlet is triggered, and it's in your alarm statement, then the email would mention "ChangeSock" in the first line of the email.

I don't think it's what you're looking for, but it's probably better than nothing.

I don't use Fusion, but I'm thinking I heard there is (or will be in the future) some type of "reminder" page or service. Maybe someone with experience there can confirm or deny.

While not an alarm there is a reminders section in fusion. I dont use it currently though I might set up a test to see if it pings me. You can see upcoming reminders in Fusion though and set it up to do recurring events...

Yeah I just have it trigger when the sock gets full. Depending how much crap is collected it may be 3 or 4 days.
