T5 supplement lighting

I have two reefbreeder v2 32" fixtures over a 6 foot 220 gallon tank. Was thinking about adding some T5 supplement lighting but have no idea what to use or even what color bulbs to use. Let's here some suggestions please. Thanks

Bigzman can you show me a picture of the fixtures with the lights off. Or from the top. Did you mounts them (attach) then to the LED fixture or attached to inside of canopy. IS it some kind of retro diy kit. Sorry for atoll the questions. Thanks in advance

Here is my build thread.

After getting a loaner PAR meter I had to lower whites from Reefbreeders from 60% to 30%. Was getting 400 PAR readings at bottom of tank.

Is this what your looking for?

Is this what your looking for?

Please note:

On the second set I had to adjust my exposure on camera is it gets to much glare from the brightness. So now it looks dim but it does show color of bulbs. If I didn't do that everything would look foggy and super white.

I know reefbrite makes t5 fixtures as supplemental t5 fixtures to be used with LEDs. I personally have not used them but reefbrite makes solid fixtures.

4 x 60" bulbs. 2 in front and 2 in back. I would personally run 2 Actinic and 2 ATI Coral Plus. That way you get a full spectrum

Either the T5 retro kit from LET Lighting or the Aruba Sun or the Razor Retro kit will work. Just depends on budget and your setup.

Do you have a canopy where you can hide a retro setup like the LET or do you need it to look a little more polished like the other 2 kits?

I'd start with 2 Coral Plus bulbs to get a full spectrum going on

I second the 2 coral plus if you can not do 4. But if you want the color pop do a purple / uv.
