Let's see everyone's Apex Control Board/Panel
I used a Coralife Nano stand for a 10-gallon tank and converted the stand into my cabinet for my apex control board. It will sit's right next to my display. I have almost completed the control panel! I just need to mount my 2 6050 TUNZE pump controllers, Skimz 163DC Protein Skimmer controller and my Ecotech M1 main pump controller and this project will be FINSIHED~ and ready for hook up. I have the classic Apex so I have added the salinity probe with the PM2 Module and for my Leak Detector, I got the ALD Module with 3 Low-Profile Advanced Leak Detection Probes that will sit around the sump. Also, I will be adding 2 webcams streaming, off my Net gear WIFI box - one under my tank in the tank stand pointing at my sump and one inside of the tank ones the new Coralvue's 720P webcam get released in 3 weeks. I can't wait for this new webcam to come out by Coralvue - price tag, is not as bad as I thought it would be. It's only going to be $199.00 and you download their own app.. Basically, it's a plug and play.

Pretty cool idea. Something I need to consider when building a new stand

Is there a downside (moisture maybe) to setting up your Apex Neptue system in the fish tank cabinet with the sump?? I was considering that option as I do not have space to build out a separate cabinet. Thoughts??

Some have put electrical components, power strips, etc inside the tank stand cabinet with success. I personally don't do this for fear of corrosion and fire hazard potential but that's just me.

Thanks Jim. I have done some research and I have to agree placing all our expensive electronics under the cabinet......probably not a good idea. I did find two pagoda style DVD cabinets that will work very nicely with the decor and most importantly wife approves. lol

Wife approval is extremely important in this hobby lol. Best of luck getting all of that set up.
