Don't see that every day

Had an Aptasia eat one of my peppermint shrimp.

It was a smaller shrimp. I'm looking in the tank and I notice shrimp whiskers sticking straight out of the aptasia. I take a closer look and you can see the outline of the shrimp's body inside it. I'll have to stay up tonight and see how many of the shrimp are left.

While I'm sitting there looking at it I notice another one grab a brisstleworm and suck it in.

I guess I've put off another stab with Kalk too long

I immediately grabbed some high concentrate Kalk water and went to town stabbing the bigger ones again.

I've noticed the kalk does seem to work, but it can take a try or two to kill the bigger ones. I try to spread it out and only do it once a week or so cause it causes a pH spike.

I should probably start doing it twice a week instead of once a week.

I have also noticed the peppermints at night are coming out and at least getting most of the smaller ones.

I've had great success using aiptasia X. I take a 10ml syringe with 6ml of aipX and 4ml of tank water, shake it up in the syringe and go to town
