identify disease on fish
So I have two blue reef chromis in QT. They are on day 4 of prazipro and day 2 of paragard. Two days ago the smaller one showed up with this on the one side of his body. The white spot near his head and then the miscolored spots farther back. He also has white stringy poop. It has not gotten better in the last 2 days. Could this be bacterial possibly?

I have never thought paraguard does anything for diseases. It's either copper, CP, or ttm for me.

Stringy poop tells me it's Flukes!!
Keep using the Prazipro - dose every 4-5 days, and follow directions EXACTLY! Be patient and don't give up on it! You may have to dose 4-5 times, for good measure. I would also order some Dr. G's Kankamycin caviar and feed this in conjunction with the Prazipro dosing prevent any secondary bacterial infection.

I also ordered some kanaplex which is kanamycin broad spectrum antibiotic just in case the prazi isn't working out and it ends up being bacterial. |

Well crap. The small chromis died overnight. The larger one remains healthy looking. While I never saw any aggression it makes me think maybe the big one was attacking the little one and those were wounds. If that's the case probably my fault for getting an even number.
