Gas Bubble Disease
Looking for potential causes of gas bubble disease in sea horses. I'm guessing it's not micro bubbles since it only seems to affect males. Temperature is about 78°F.
I'm at a 50/50 success rate of treating gbd with generic dioxin I believe it is, and plan on starting tomorrow with the latest seahorse. However, if there is anything anyone has encountered that has been found to cause this, I'd appreciate help figuring it out. I'd prefer to fix the problem so I don't have to continually treat and I don't know that I could get more medicine to do so. The first two males I believe were wild caught (based on price), however I thought this newest one was captive bred (I'll ask again tomorrow), so I'm thinking it can't be pressure induced.
