Orange Coralline?

I've got bright orange spots showing up on my LR. The orange looks fluorescent under the blue lights. Very cool if it's a good thing. I'm ondering if it's a new and exciting color of coralline, or a sign my regular coralline is unhappy. I started dosing with vodka about a week ago for nitrates.

Any thoughts?

Hi also have those orange spots and I love it. At first I thought it was some kind of coral but it grows with coralline pattern.

That is very nice! I would love to have that .
I have a verity of different colored caroline from regular pink to marroon. There are also some more "rare" verities like some purple/blue (violet) carroline in low light areas, lime green caroline under high light and very dark green in low light areas. I would low to add some orange to the mix.

I even have some of the orange growing on my snails' shells. I can only see it under actinics.

My live rocks are wild collected and I have green, red, dark red, purple, pink, pale yellow and turquoise colored coraline all over the place. Mostly dominated by purple plating coraline, a lot of it but not to a level of growing on the glass panels.

FWIW sometimes when purple coralline is exposed to air for too long it will take on an orange appearance.
