What do you feed your fish?
After years of feeding only frozen foods such as Rod's or PE Mysis I was talking with another reefer with a very nice tank who said he only feeds flake.
I am curious what others are feeding, and if you have a non frozen food you would recommend. Thank you!

I use rods, PE mysis, formula one pellets, omega flakes and hikari seaweed extreme.
I would say Rods is my most used followed by the formula one pellets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Do you feed all of that because you want to, or because you think you have to?

Personally I like to make my own frozen and also feed flake occasionally. ...
I goto Asian or Spanish markets and get a blend of shrimp, mussels, squid, and scallops( I try to avoid stuff with Krab since it has food coloring and other weird named additives. ..) I thaw it partially and toss into food processor with garlic cloves and Nori sheets ( cut to strips) or some spinach... Fish seem to love it and it also makes some fine chopped stuff that I assume the corals are enjoying to ! ( Torch, frogspawn and Anemones enjoy when direct fed..lol) And it costs less than $5 for about a pound of food... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I527 using Tapatalk |

Due to laziness and years in the hobby... I eventually settled on tank mates that all would accept pellets. So I have a 180 with aggressives and all love pellets... queen emperor tangs clowns etc. Fed multiple times a day with an auto feeder. I add seaweed sheets every couple days but that's all I supplement. Vacation is easy.

Pellets if I'm crunched for time and don't have food defrosted. Mysis, Brine, marine mix frozen that i defrost and mix together. Did some chopped up clams, shrimps and scallops before.
