What size tank for this stocking list?
I'm finally planning on getting back into saltwater and reef tanks after not having a tank for nearly 15 years. I haven't bought anything yet, and am just in the planning stages. I don't have a ton of space, but want to make sure I get a setup that will eventually accommodate my wishlist. I'm planning to have live rock, mostly sand substrate, and soft & LPS corals.
My "must have" stocking list is: Firefish Oscellaris or Percula Clown Royal Gramma Yellow-Headed/Pearly Jawfish Red Scooter Dragonet TBD shrimp, hermits, and/or other inverts My optional list (space/compatibility permitting) includes: Yellow Assessor Clown Goby Midas Blenny For the Dragonet, I'd be grateful for ideas on how to ensure there are adequate copepods for it. I'm open to ordering live ones, potentially adding a refugium, etc. Assuming they're added slowly and the tank has adequate time to get established, what would be the smallest tank I should have for my must-have list, without a sump and/or refugium? How about with a sump and/or refugium - and what size? I'd be happy to hear any other thoughts or suggestions as well. Thanks! |
