Bubble Magus Curve 9
I had a leak in my sump and my Bubble Magus curve 9 was running without water. The motor is turning the impeller but not strong enough to create bubble to fill the skimmer. I took the impeller out and cleaned it, but still nothing. I am running it in fresh water and vinegar to make sure it is really clean. Am i wasting my time and require a new sp4000 pump or perhaps just the impeller part?

Check the air intake at the pump. Might clogged with salt creep from running dry.

Thank you for your reply. I did in fact take the unit apart and clean out as many parts as possible and still the intake is less then what is required. So last night the pump stopped and started again so i think its on its last leg and i will go purchase another one.
