Switch

Anyone know what kind of switch is on the Chinese led boxes and where to get them mine at starting to go. They say b500k but there ate numerous b500k.

I googled it and found a lot of dimmers that look just like yours. What's your concern?

Have you tried Radio Shack? I see even Walmart has them and they are dirt cheap. I'd just buy one and wire it in. That looks like a very old (dirty) fixture. Maybe it's time to upgrade?

These look to be 500K rotary potentiometers with on off switch. As Ron says, dirt cheap and easily available on Amazon and elsewhere.

B = linear taper
500k - resistance range

How many total turns does it do? (from lock to lock)
I think its a dual gang one too..

clicks on then 1 turn.

AND as everyone said they can find them everywhere that because certain ones are for electrick guitars.

They are 6 years old i took them apart and cleaned them and replaced all led's with new ones. Just need to know what switch this is. Everytime i ask a seller about the switch they all say its for electric gutairs. You know what they say you wouldnt want to wire a house with 30 guage wire now would you....
