Seeking advice
Hey everyone, I recently purchased a 180 gallon Aqueon reef ready tank. Unfortunately I will need to wait a few months before im able to set it up, but in the meantime im trying to plan out as much as possible.
Im having trouble deciding on a background color. In your opinion, what is the best choice for background/backdrop colors and why? Should i paint the back glass, or use a backdrop? My end goal is to have corals and beautifully colored fish and i really want their colors to pop. Any advice is appreciated! I have tons of other questions but i figured id start with this one. Thanks!! --Bryson |

Black. Painted. Google some pics though of reef tanks of different colors and go with what you like best though.

Black.
I've had black and blue. I prefer black, It gives the tank that endless look.

Can also do a Google search for "Urbanek's ADA Trio". Simple backlighting but the effect is awesome. You can easily combine both ideas and have a killer effect.
