Worms?!!
Hi everyone, I was just checking on my saltwater tank and tried to feed the little brittle star that came on the live rocks. And I saw 2 worms, they are too small to take a picture of but you can see them clearly with your eyes. 1st worm, greyish in colour, emerges from holes in live rock and eats left over fish food from the star, swings around sometimes and eats fast! 2nd worm. Definitely a bristle, bright red. Anyone can tell whats the 1st worm? I do not want those 6 foot monsters that I always hear of in my tank, but i will gladly keep them in the tank if they are good. Thanks!

More then likely, both bristle worms. Without a pictures it's really hard to say for certain though.

Alright, i just looked through that website and did a little more research. I've found out that the first worm like creature was a peanut worm's! Really cool. But now I am not sure about the bristle, it seems okay to me.

It more then likely a common bristle worm. It's certainly not unheard of, but very uncommon to get a "bad" worm. Unless you bought rock from somewhere like TBS where it comes direct from the ocean.
