Pistol shrimp
Hi guys, I was just wondering if I should target feed my pistol shrimp? I put brine shrimp I'm the tank and his goby buddy eats quite a lot. Not sure how much the shrimp eats. I read that the goby will feed the shrimp. Is it worth putting a small amount in a syringe and squirting it near its burrow?
Thank you in advance. Sent from my Vodafone Smart ultra 6 using Tapatalk |

Brine shrimp have very little nutritional value. I used to feed my fish and shrimp New Life Spectrum pellets.

What's the best frozen food to feed them then. Mysis? I do have pellets like you mention but they don't seem to come out for them. Should I drop some by their burrow?

PE my sis is far better than brine shrimp. You can drop a few pellets right by the entrance.

Brine shrimp is fine IMO, but I would supplement the shrimps diet with other foods as well. (flakes, pellets etc) FWIW though I've seen plenty of baby Cichlids bulk up on a diet that consisted of nothing but brine shrimp.
