Acrylic separation on skimmer

Hi All

I have a Reef Octo HOB Skimmer which has started to separate near the cup most likely due to the small amount of force it receives from extricating the collection cup. It fits very snugly to my hood so I know it gets slightly abused.

What would be the best method to fix this dilemma? The skimmer is due for a cleaning so taking it out of commission for a day or two would be no problem. Thanks!
