Flow setting for a 3' SPS mixed tank. Need Suggestion

Hi, my SPS mixed tank is 36" x 20" x 20". Currently I am using Newjet and Maxijet pumps with timers for flow making. The old school way:

A pump is placed on the left hand side of the tank, and the other right hand side.
Timers are set with 6 hours interval, to stimulate high tide and low tide.
First 6hrs, left pump on, right pump off.
Second 6hrs, left pump off, right pump on.
.......
There are overlapping time in between, that both pumps turn on, or off.

It has been working for years. I am thinking of upgrading the Newjet and Maxijet pumps with better one with more complex wave patterns. But I want to keep this time pattern setting. What options do I have?

I have checked out Tunze, and I like them. The new one all have a single controller included, but it only controls the wave pattern without timer.

ps: I dont like MP40 as I like to hide my pumps behind rocks and to adjust the flow direction.

Thanks.
