Aerator for power outage?

As hurricane season is still going on, I'm starting to think about what might happen to my tank if I lose power. I found this aerator that works for up to 50-gallons (I have a 66 gallon tank plus a sump, though the sump would be irrelevant in a power outage as no water would be moving through there):

Would this work to keep my tank alive? Looks like all I would need to buy is a car battery, is that correct?

Thanks in advance!

This is what many have, all it really does is move water upwards for gas exchange.
The 1 you linked may be too much but will work.

Obviously you want something that is battery operated. As noted, just need something to move water through the air/water surface interface. I use the ETM battery backup -much more expensive option though.

How do you connect car battery to the pump?

Got the Vortech battery backup cable, cut the battery end and installed two eyelets to attach to the battery +/- then plug it to the pump. Use a BatteryMINDER to keep it charged. It's perfect!
