Components 1, 2, 3 with nsw water changes
Hi,
I am currently using kalk but would like to switch due to variable evaporation so want more stability using a 3 part that i can dial in. Im currently using a diy nopox for nitrates and gfo for phos. I do 140lt of nsw changes every 2 weeks on a 520lt system. Can i use component 1,2,3 with my method above. I would also like to know if your system maintains a stable ph in a reef or will i have to vent in fresh air if my ph drops. Kalk keeps it currently in the 8.3 range when evaporation is stable. Thanks |

You can use the components 1,2,3 The stability of PH is highly variable due to environmental conditions. Most likely excess CO2 in your system. Aquaforest makes a product called AF Build that will help with the PH stability. There are many different ways to deal with PH issues. Stability is more important than a number IMHO. To flat out answer if you'll need to vent with fresh air , I have no idea. Every tank is different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
