Happy with your Rainbow Chalice?
Anyone bought one of these $$$$ rainbow chalice frags and been happy with your purchase? I see all of these stunningly colored frags (many by cornbred), yet they all seem to be under blue lights, rather than the lights normal humans use. Would appreciate any feedback.

I can't help you, since I doubt that I would ever spend "$$$$" (that's a lot of $s) on a frag.
I would be very curious to see some chain of custody and progression pics from a coral like you describe. Something like: Pic of frag from online seller --> Pic of frag from buyer after delivery --> Pic of colony after weeks, months, years....And of course from someone on here I've personally "vetted," like yourself. I know this is asking waaayyy too much.

This is an older pic from a few years back, as this Cherry Coral Full House frag has now grown into a colony. Be warned, these are very slow growers in comparison to any other chalice I've kept. Fingernail frag to 4" in four years.

That is why people put actinic lighting on their tanks. You grow under the full spectrum then put on the light show with the blues to see everything pop. The flamerthrowers I have seen in person look just like the photos. My avatar chalice looks just like the photos. I think people have a rougher time with the rainbow acros like walt disney frags because then you start dealing with all the problems around nutrients and coloring. In my experience, chalices aren't temperamental with their colors.

I bought some and am happy with them, they take forever to grow but is very rewarding when they do grow. Mine look pretty close to the same as they do in cornbred pics. Also I like cornbreds corals I think the company is pretty solid. I get corals day after I order and they are always healthy. Only negative part is price. I’m a believer that quality isn’t expensive it’s priceless

I have a cornbred rainbow chalice and it's beautiful but in the year I've had it the growth has been almost non-existent. for the record, it looks as impressive under white lights as it does under the blues.
